DESIGNING EQUITABLE SYSTEMS

  • Shifts internal organizational culture and transforms leadership structures

  • Shifts internal practices, especially those core to racial equity, (i.e. hiring/retention/promotion, contracts and procurement, grant making, board capacity)

  • Works meaningfully with cross-sector collaborations to align work around common outcomes with Black, Indigenous and all People of Color

  • Builds grantee capacity to embed Antiracist RBA into their work, i.e. human service, public health, public-private sector alignment, education

our impact

TRANSFORMING CULTURE AND RESULTS IN THE LONG-TERM

Our results show that building the capacity to doggedly focus on antiracist impact produces culture changes and strategies that impacts individuals and organizations. Our contracts are long-term because we know that a deep investment of time and energy is required to shift institutional and structural patterns to produce racial equity. With our support, organizations have changed their hierarchical structures and grant-making processes to ensure impact for Black, Indigenous and all People of Color, cities have seen the gap close in 3rd grade reading scores for BIPOC students, and government agencies have shifted their practices to align with community values and demands.
